I used to love this place so much and would always drive to Alhambra to get some of this finger licking goodness until the quality of the shrimp went down and then I stopped! I recently gave this place another try and remembered why I fell in love in the first place! The atmosphere is loud and upbeat making me feel comfortable and casual. Their shrimp quality has definitely improved from the pinky sized lumpiness!

My favorite thing about this place is that they allow you to get in line through the yelp check in! Be warned that they do skip parties who do not check in within five minutes so that means your spot would come a lot sooner than you'd think!

Also, I am going to rave about their lemon pepper fries for a quick minute. I used to be so into their cajun fries but after having a well seasoned batch of lemon pepper fries, I simply can't go back! It was soooo good!

My go to order is half a pound of shrimp, whole shabang (all the sauces mixed together), medium spicy, and with a corn on the side ($1.75)! Sooo good!! My dad (who can not eat spicy for his life) gets the lemon pepper flavor with no spicy! He is now able to enjoy it with me without sweating buckets!

I also appreciate how quick the servers are here. Not only do they smile to every customer but they're also always checking up on us! Definitely tip them well, they deserve it.

Thank you again Boiling Crab! :)

Too big to fail. I'm sure that's what they tell their employees in back to reassure them that they can treat their patrons like garbage and it will not affect their business.

I ordered somewhere near 200 dollars of seafood and felt that the sauce was deficient in my bags because the food was dry when it came out. Instead of giving me a little more sauce, I was provided a science lesson by the manager. If anyone needs to know, butter is a solid and not a liquid at room temperature.

3 stars for this location specifically. I like that this location is bigger and the ventilation is decent so you don't come out smelling like garlic seafood but the food is only okay

The main reason why this BC doesn't get anything higher than a 3 star is because they are so stingy with their sauce. It's so dry compared to all the other locations and the sauce is more watery so it doesn't latch onto your seafood the way it does at other locations. Also, the garlic pieces in the whole shabang sauce is super huge and not minced enough.

I didn't remember to take a picture before feasting and my hands were dirty but the fries portion on the fried basket were also really small compared to other locations. This location is good with space but not so much the quality in sauce and portion.

Service was decent. We were there during shift change so the guy that took our order told us our server is actually some other dude and we literally never saw him until the very very end. In fact, another server has to bring us our check and it took a while to get our cokes refilled.

Out of all the Boiling Crabs in the area, I usually come to this location because it's bigger and cleaner.

I usually get Half a Pound of Shrimp, Whole Shabang Mild with less butter. When you get less butter, it's spicier so if you typically get medium spicy with regular butter, I would recommend getting mild. Overall, the sauce is pretty good here but sometimes it feels like it's missing something.

I really like the Fried Catfish Basket with Cajun Fries though. The fries from this location are so good!

Service is okay, sometimes it seems like the employees walk around aimlessly and it takes a long time to flag down someone.

Wait times can be crazy but I'm glad they do Yelp waitlist now. Keep in mind, they don't seat you until your entire party has arrived.

The place gets packed so beat the dinner crowd. I was with a large party of coworkers and we were easily accommodated. Great for large parties, just call ahead to reserve space. The calamari was ok, not too crunchy and served damn near as big as onion rings lol. The seafood was pretty good with nice flavor. I was surprised how NOT spicy the spicy food was, but it was delicious nonetheless. Nice environment to eat and maybe catch the game with friends. Easy 5 stars.
